This is an interesting independently run design studio that i came across run by the team from bldgblog. It concerned the concepts of quarantine and how architecture can facilitate the process. What was most interesting was the concept of isolation, (whilst i might not condone this view), it does certainly provide for some unique siting opportunities. Not only for the space overall, but the intermediate spaces or 'crossovers' into the city or asscoiated community with the isolation 'zone'.
